What the AI does, and what it doesn’t
CROW’s AI diagnosis is a second opinion that’s quick to ask for. You give it the complaint the customer described, and it reasons about that specific vehicle: the year, make, model and trim, plus what CROW already knows about it, such as the safety recalls issued for that model and the maintenance due.
It doesn’t plug into the car, read codes for you or replace your own inspection. It tells you where to look first, so you spend less time chasing the wrong thing.
Ranked causes for this vehicle
Run it from the job and you get the most likely causes, ranked, each with how likely it is and a short explanation of why. You also get the next things to check to confirm or rule each one out, and an overall confidence level.
The diagnosis is saved to the job. Open it again later and it’s still there, without running it again.
Parts and labor for the estimate
For the most likely cause, the diagnosis suggests the parts a shop would typically replace and an AI estimate of the labor time (not a labor guide’s book time). Prices are typical aftermarket figures, marked as estimates, for you to check against your supplier. It never invents part numbers.

You stay in charge
Nothing reaches the customer unless you put it there. Every line on the estimate is one you picked, and every price is one you can change before you save. The AI is built on Anthropic’s Claude, and CROW sends it the job’s vehicle and complaint, not your customer’s contact details.
